We have two summer school pieces of information to share!
As a reminder, school will not be in session tomorrow, June 19th, in observation of the federal holiday.
Additionally, the K-3 trip to Rutledge Wilson Farm has been rescheduled for June 24th, weather permitting. We'll be using the original permission forms for the event. If you have any questions or need to adjust your student's permission, please call the school office!

Summer Athletics Update from the Cardinal Athletic Department
School may be out for the summer, but the gym is staying open! The Cardinal Athletic Department has a full summer schedule packed with conditioning sessions, shootouts, camps, and more.

Important Reminder for Middle School Summer School Students:
If your middle school athlete is enrolled in summer school, please note the following attendance policies:
**Shootouts or All-Day Events Off Campus: Students will be counted absent and will not qualify for the attendance incentive.
**On-Campus Conditioning Sessions During School Hours: Students must check in with their teacher first, then return to class after the session for their attendance to count.

Summer school packets were delivered to enrolled students this morning! Packets include a letter from administration, a calendar, and a field trip form. Should you need a new copy, you can pick one up at the building office.
We'll be running our normal school day from 7:50 AM - 3:48 PM, with breakfast starting at 7:30 AM. Session dates are indicated on the attached calendar!

Each year, Webster Electric holds an essay contest for juniors. Two are chosen to represent the area. Ashleigh Vestal won the contest and was chosen to represent our area at the Youth Tour Conference in which she will first spend a couple days in Jefferson City and then enjoy an all-expense paid trip to tour Washington DC!

We will need to run three bus routes until further notice due to two of our buses being out of service temporarily. This will start this morning, April 29th.

While elementary testing is underway, our secondary state assessments begin next week!
Please remember, students are able to do their best on assessments when they have a full night's rest and a full meal to jump start their day.
This is a reminder about our approaching Pre-K and Kindergarten Screening!
Please keep in mind, this event is for new students only. Students currently enrolled will be screened within their regular classrooms during the school day.
If you have a child who will be coming to preschool or kindergarten next year, please sign up for a screening. To enroll in preschool they must be 3 by July 31, 2025. To enroll in kindergarten they must be 5 by July 31, 2025. All screenings will take place on April 29, 2025 at the Niangua Early Childhood building; you can sign up for a time slot using the links below.
Please bring the following information for enrollment: 1. Birth Certificate of student 2. Social Security card of student 3. Shot record of student 4. Two proofs of residence 5. Picture ID of parent
